COSTS
You avoid additional cost of office space and equipment. You only pay for the hours of work required. All our clients, however, are treated on an individual basis, and fees are calculated accordingly. We can provide you with a free quotation for any project large or small. The prices quoted below are a guide:
GENERAL ADMINISTRATIVEwork is between £13.50 and £21 per hour, including word processing, proofreading, database creation etc, depending on the clarity of the written word. For work such as small printing and binding jobs, diary management, travel arrangements, meetings or conference organisation etc, please ring for a price.
TRANSCRIPTION SERVICE. Do you know how long does it take to transcribe an hour of recording? It is important to remember that it is not possible to type as fast as you speak, and on average transcription can take up to four times the length of a good, clear recording which has no background noise or strong accents. It will be edited speech, which excludes words such as 'um', 'ah', stammers, or repeated words etc, and will be £16.00 per hour. All equipment is available for hire.
COPY TYPING is £16 per 1,000 words, from written material depending on the clarity of the document. There is a special rate for students dissertations etc. CALL MINDING is £0.80p per call, incoming and outgoing, depending on locality and length of call. Minimum Charge 1 per day. If weekend or evening work is required, there will be a surcharge of 25%. Hourly rates relate to the professional service provided. Any specific costs incurred such as stationery, postage, packing etc, will be added to the client's bill at cost. 100g/m2 A4 white paper will be used. A different size or colour can be requested, but there will be an additional cost to cover the price. Soft copies (email) available at no extra cost. |
